HG Grass Care LLC has been actively removing legitimate customer reviews from both Google and Yelp, and appears to be inflating its ratings with fake 5-star reviews. The screenshot below from their Google review page provides an example of this behavior.
Take a look at the suspicious 5-star reviews from “Kirsten Wright” and “Wright RE and GC.” Both accounts are based in Texas—well outside of HG Grass Care’s service area (Maryland and Virginia). One is a personal account belonging to Kirsten Wright, a Texas-based realtor, and the other is a business account for her company. Despite being presented as two separate customers, the reviews were posted at the exact same time and date, raising serious doubts about their authenticity. Yet, HG Grass Care “hearted” the review, signaling approval. This pattern undermines trust and casts doubt on the credibility of their overall rating.

One of HG Grass Care’s workers drove a lawn mower down our basement stairs, causing significant damage to both the stairs and the exterior wall. I was home at the time and heard what sounded like a car crash. It's difficult to understand how this even occurred, given that there is over two feet of concrete separating the lawn from the stairwell. When I confronted the worker, he appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. We are currently in the process of selling our home, and our realtor estimates that the damage caused by HG could reduce the resale value by approximately $25,000. After this incidence, I continued paying HG for lawn mowing services for 2 months, and during the time period hoping HG would fix the damage they created. Despite this, HG owner, Adriano, has refused to communicate or collaborate on a mutually acceptable repair plan. Instead, he unilaterally offered a $600 settlement or he would bring someone from his side to do a quick repair in a way that could potentially cause further damage to my property. I have both photo and video evidence of the incident and we are pursuing legal action.

I wish there was an option to share photos—I’d post one of my lawn after HG Grass Care claimed they had completed mowing. The rushed job left a random "W" pattern instead of the clean, even stripes you’d expect from a proper mowing. Our security camera showed they were in and out of the backyard in just 23 seconds. After five years as customers, we recently canceled our lawn service with HG. A really disappointing way to end what was once a good relationship.

My husband and I witnessed an HG Grass Care truck (license plate 3ES3886) involved in a road rage incident on Route 66. It appeared that the woman driving in front of the HG truck was going the speed limit, but the HG driver became aggressive. He forced her to stop, then got out of his vehicle, approached her car, and physically pulled her out. My husband remarked that the HG driver should pick on someone his own size. Please feel free to remove my email (xxxx) when sharing this, but we are willing to act as witnesses on behalf of the woman if needed.

We paid $800 for a spring cleanup including flower bed weed treatment which Adriano promised would last over two months. Within 10 days, weeds were back in one small section. When I questioned whether they accidentally missed that area, they denied any mistake and tried to upsell me on an expensive $120/month maintenance plan.

I'm not a customer of HG Grass Care LLC, but my neighbor was. Unfortunately, our security camera captured HG workers urinating behind our storage shed in our backyard. We reached out to HG's customer service about the incident, but our concerns were ignored for months. Ultimately, our neighbor chose to discontinue their services.
